Stages

Over 4 days, road cyclists will cover over 529km, incorporating a total of over 5000m of ascent.

Day 1 starts at Ay Nik, heading West and finishing at Episkopi.

Day 2 takes participants North West to Polis, before Day 3's challenging ascent of Troodos from the coast. The final day is the longest, descending into Nicosia before completing the long ride back to Ay Nik.

Day One

Ay Nik to Episkopi

Starting at the ANCC clubhouse, the route from Ayios Nikolaos to Episkopi is a total distance of 139km. Weaving through the tight streets before hitting the coast near Dhekelia, the route largely handrails the South coast.

Landmarks include the Camel Park, a lunch stop at Zygi, via Limassol finishing at Episkopi Station to complete Day 1.

Day Two

Episkopi to Polis

Day 2 starts with the descent from Episkopi into Happy Valley and continues to Polis, a total of 93km. The route takes in the main group photo opportunity at Aphrodite's Rock, before continuing into Paphos and stopping for lunch on the outskirts of the city. An enjoyable, (aka challenging!) climb follows lunch, before descending into Polis to conclude the day and rest before Troodos.

Day Three

Polis to Troodos

Polis to Troodos is a total of 105km and on paper is the 'toughest day' of the challenge, with over 2,500m climb.

The most rewarding day. All climbing is done at your own pace, deciding to head up as a team or individually. This is logistically the hardest day for our support crew, working tirelessly to ensure all riders are fed and watered, no matter what stage you are at on the climb. Its not all up though! There are some fantastic scenic sections to enjoy, making the most of the amazing views.

The Final Day, Day Four Troodos to Ay Nik

The final day starts with the immediate descent down the North side of Troodos and onwards via Nicosia to Ayios Nikolaos, a total of 164km.

This is the longest day of riding. The challenge is far from over and with tired legs from the previous days riding, its finding the last bout of energy to get you home.

The route takes the cyclists through the United Nations buffer zone that divides Cyprus, going past Nicosia International Airport, which has been abandoned since 1974. This is a huge privilege and for many, the highlight of the challenge.

Riding onwards towards Ay Nik where you will be met by friends, family and the local community, rewarded with food and refreshments, with live entertainment into the evening.
